Hello my dear friends, supporters and fans! I’m writing to you from the road during a tour stop in Hamilton. Over the last year, as more and more people have plugged in to what I am doing, many people have asked me if there is anything they can do to help out. I have been honoured to have a large number of people ask how they can help spread my music, and how they can bring more people out to shows or bring me to their city to perform. After receiving so many of these requests and some pretty enthusiastic online responses, I’ve decided to start a “street team.” The music world of today is full of a lot of options, and it can be hard to wade through such variety and find the music that really speaks to you. If my music speaks to you and you’d like to help spread the word, then I would really love to have your help!
With all that in mind, I have decided to launch and unleash The Beard Brigade. The Beard Brigade (not to be confused with the dangerous Bear Brigade…) is for anyone who wants to help spread the music, bring me to your city, and help the music grow so that I can continue to write, record, make more music, and tour with my full band more often. If you want to help out in any way, be it some help on social media, taking pictures or video, helping put up posters, or any way you would like to help, we’d love to have it.
In exchange for joining the Beard Brigade and getting involved in helping me share my music around, my team and I will send you exclusive private youtube videos of cover songs and of new material. You will be the first to hear songs from my new record as I work on it. There will be special t-shirts for those who go above and beyond, and exclusive music downloads over the course of the coming years. People who help with big jobs like postering will get guest list spots for gigs, and anyone who helps in any way will get first crack at tickets whenever possible.
